Summer Tide

This painting is part of a series of six small works I created for a group exhibition in Bologna, where every artwork had to measure exactly 20 x 20. Working on such a small scale was a real challenge for me, as I usually prefer much larger canvases. At the same time, the process became surprisingly meditative — concentrating colour, light and atmosphere into such a small space.
