Traces of Autumn

I painted this on a dark, windy autumn day, and somehow the weather found its way into the painting. I see a strong sense of movement in the lines, layers and earthy colours — almost as if the forces of nature are moving through the canvas. For me, it carries the raw, restless energy of an autumn day.
