The blues and turquoise brought a lightness that seemed to grow with every layer, while traces of darker tones gave the painting depth and contrast. It is a painting to get lost in — a space where the eye can wander, move through the layers and sink deeper into the colours. Despite its depth, there is a feeling of openness and freedom, as if nothing is holding you back.
