Autumn Whispers

I love the contrast between light and dark in this painting. Working with a limited palette of muted, earthy tones gives the work a particular depth and atmosphere. I never set out to create a landscape, yet once again something landscape-like emerged from the layers — somewhere between abstraction and something almost familiar.
