The Wanderer

In this painting, I worked extensively with charcoal and graphite, allowing the loose, raw lines to become an important part of the expression. The solitary figure emerges quietly from the muted colours, while the touch of yellow brings light and contrast. I wanted to keep the figure undefined, leaving his story open to the viewer.
